It all went up,
Blood-curdling scream—
Piercing our lives–
Women running helter-skelter—
Children crying on their backs—
All trying to save the life.
Why all the fighting?
Why not say no to conflict?
Why? Why?

Today is the D-Day,
They have to live.
We want our land back
Even by the sword thugs have to live

Neighbours standing against each other
Carrying machetes and pangas.
Eyes are film killing each other
Merciless, grass painted red.
