“Illusion”

How it is great to see yourself out of the invisible enclosure made with barbed wire.

How would feel if you are kept in such a place where you can’t see exactly where the outlet is?

It is the enclosure of colorful people from different nations,

The people inside are the people who came:

Seeking freedom,

Looking for protection,

In search of human rights and dignity.

It is the enclosure where everyone’s hands and legs are tied with invisible rope,

so that they can’t walk or do anything.

Where is the freedom for these people who thirst for it?

People have been assaulted and killed now and then.

It is a miracle to hear of attacks in such a closed cage.

“I don’t know? Maybe ghosts…”

“Who knows what it may be.”

So where is the protection these people came looking for?

It is the enclosure where humiliation and disrespect is daily bread;

Where people are friendly with anger, gripe, and distress.

It is the place where people are not comfortable to say “Good morning,”

Where everyone feels day and night shares the dark of night.

“Ohhh my God! Which part of the world is it and who are they staying in it?”

Would you like to know where this place is?

Ok! I will tell you.

I will take you to the eastern part of Africa, found in northwest of Kenya,

To a place called KAKUMA REFUGEE CAMP.
